Alex Curran

Alex Curran joined OCFL in 2023 as an Associate Attorney. Alex’s passion for family law began during undergrad at Boston College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in History and minor in Women and Gender Studies. At BC, Alex completed an internship with Rhode Island Family Court in which she researched the efficacy of mediation in cases involving domestic violence. From there she attended Harvard Law School where she enrolled in the Family Law/Domestic Violence Clinic. There, Alex represented survivors in divorce, custody, visitation and restraining order proceedings. For her work at the clinic, Alex received the Dean’s Scholar honor, awarded to the top Family Law Clinic student of the year. Alex is also a graduate of Harvard’s Trial Advocacy Workshop, in which the world’s best litigators train students in oral advocacy.

As a mother, Alex knows the enormous stakes involved in Family Law Litigation. She strives to practice with empathy for her clients, many of whom are going through the lowest point in their lives. Alex provides clear and comforting counsel during this trying time. When the situation calls, she is also a fierce litigator determined to obtain the best result for her clients. Ultimately, her goal is to empower her clients to move forward and live their best life. In her free time, Alex enjoys relaxing with her young family, antiquing and fostering kittens.
