Jolee Vacchi

Certified Mediator, Collaboratively-Trained Attorney, and fierce litigator with a depth of knowledge of the divorce and custody laws in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts – Attorney Jolee Vacchi is an incredible advocate to have in your corner.

Her strength and compassion serve as a bulwark against the uncertainty divorce and custody cases often bring. Attorney Vacchi makes it a goal to provide each of her clients with education, stability, and a clear direction; she is a reliable shield behind which her clients find first-rate guidance out of the current struggles they face to allow them to start to dream about the opportunities the future holds for them.

Attorney Vacchi sees how important it is to ensure that children have a healthy and safe relationship with both of their parents. She often fights against manipulative, controlling, or narcissistic ex-partners who see “winning” the child as a way to hurt the other parent rather than due to a desire to co-parent. Fighting for or against the relocation of a child to another state due to a parent’s impending move is another area where Attorney Vacchi has significant experience.

In addition, Jolee expertly handles cases involving high-net-worth and asset divorce, high-conflict custody matters often involving domestic violence, personality disorders, or substance abuse, guardianship of minors, prenuptial and postnuptial agreement drafting, as well as contempt actions.

Attorney Vacchi graduated magna cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law where she then spent several years working to help prepare the next generation of up-and-coming lawyers. She is dually licensed to practice law in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is a certified mediator, a trained and certified collaborative law attorney, and a leader in the family law arena.

When Jolee started at O’Connor Family Law, she was asked about her dreams outside of work. Her response was to one day own a farm.
