As the first point of contact for many of our clients, Exie Lightfoot ensures that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed and supported. They bring warmth, professionalism, and empathy to every interaction — qualities that make them an invaluable part of our team.
Before joining the firm, Exie worked as an Environmental Educator with “e” inc in Boston, where they helped students connect science, sustainability, and action in their communities. Prior to that, they served as a Fundraising Coordinator with the International Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva Association (IFOPA), supporting critical research and patient advocacy efforts. These experiences reflect Exie’s dedication to service, communication, and making a meaningful impact wherever they work.
Exie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University, a Master’s in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University, and a Paralegal Studies Certificate from Boston University. Their diverse educational background reflects both intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding people and the world around them.
Empathy is at the core of Exie’s approach to work and life. They believe in leading with kindness and compassion, recognizing that everyone has a story and deserves to be treated with respect.
Outside of the office, Exie lives with their wife, Bryn, and their three pets — a cat named Apollyon (Polly), a beagle named Caelum, and a tortoise named Xanthe. Together, they enjoy traveling, making costumes and props, bird and wildlife watching, and playing bar trivia or any other game that brings friends together.
A fun fact about Exie: they developed a love of bird watching during their studies in the Amazon. Equipped with a spotting scope and binoculars, they’ve become known among friends as the local bird expert — able to identify nearly every species in the area.
