Restraining Orders, Harassment Prevention Orders, and Vacate Orders, Oh My!
O’Connor Family Law talks about what to do if you are the victim of abuse or harassment and, also, what to do if you find yourself being served with a Restraining Order.
If you or anyone you know of anyone in an unsafe situation, please have them call 911 if the harm is happening currently, but then have them call us and we can help them make sure they get the protection they need.
If you or anyone you know is being falsely accused of harming someone and gets served with a restraining order, be polite to the officer and remain calm, pack up everything you need for two weeks, and then give us a call to start building your defense.
