Caitlyn E. Fletcher joined O’Connor Family Law in 2018 and has become one of our most requested attorneys. She brings a client-focused approach to strategizing a family law case to help our clients obtain the results they need. She has a depth of legal knowledge and courtroom experience, that has caused her reputation in the family law arena to be one who is very detail oriented, strong-willed, and poised negotiator and litigator. Although some cases have no choice but to go to trial due to the issues or the people involved in a divorce or custody matter, the majority of them settle. Attorney Fletcher’s strengths involve her ability to always be working toward a settlement while ensuring her clients are protected in case communication and negotiations break down and the case is forced to trial.
We are extremely lucky at O’Connor Family Law to have Attorney Fletcher on our team!
Attorney Fletcher’s ability to use her skills and education to help people through some of the toughest times in their lives, is what made her fall in love with family law. Having seen first-hand and having helped her own husband through his custody battle, has given her a deeper connection to what she does, and the clients she is able to help. Attorney Fletcher’s passion and motivation for what she does, made her the perfect fit for O’Connor Family Law, and pushed her to step out of her comfort zone and join our team.
Education & Expertise
Attorney Fletcher graduated in 2014 with her J.D. and had previously attended the University of California, Irvine, where she received her B.A. in 2011. Prior to being admitted to the bar in November of 2014, she worked as a paralegal in a boutique domestic relations and family law firm, before transitioning to an associate attorney for that same firm.
When not working, she is spending time with her family or traveling back to San Diego to visit her parents and the beach. She has two children, and when she is not shuttling back and forth between sporting events, they love to spend their time outside together hiking, fishing, camping, or hunting.
