A proud graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing, Mariel went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, bringing her expertise back home after honing her skills in the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth legal scene.
Before joining O’Connor Family Law, Mariel amassed valuable experience in litigation, client advocacy, and negotiation. Although she began her legal career in corporate transactional law at Tetra Pak, she quickly realized her true passion was for family law through her experience at various family law firms and her work with underrepresented populations through the Texas A&M Family and Veterans Advocacy Clinic. Attorney Mariel Greene returned to Massachusetts to join another family law firm, solidifying her commitment to helping families and gaining valuable courtroom experience within the Commonwealth. She decided to join O’Connor Family Law because she also saw a number of issues within the divorce and custody process that need to change and she believes in the mission and vision of OCFL.
Outside of the courtroom, Mariel is an avid marathon runner and enjoys hiking, relishing the beauty of the outdoors. She cherishes her time spent with her partner and their dog, finding balance and joy in life’s simple pleasures.
