Her Story

Attorney Kelsey Warner is a fierce attorney who leads with purpose, compassion, and strength. Licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, she represents clients in all family law matters with an unwavering focus on protecting what matters most to her clients - their children and their future.

Kelsey’s decision to enter the legal field is deeply personal. A survivor of childhood domestic violence, she witnessed firsthand the fear, confusion, and helplessness that can arise when navigating the legal system without support. She has lived through her own case, cared for children removed from their homes due to violence in previous roles, and watched loved ones struggle in similar situations. In every instance, she saw the same pattern: people who had no clear understanding of the legal process, and therefore no real ability to defend their rights. That experience drove her to become an attorney. Her goal was not just to understand the law, but to use that understanding to make true changes in people’s lives.

Kelsey began her legal career as a legal assistant, then as a paralegal in New Hampshire, a state where paralegals are able to actively litigate family law cases under the direction of an attorney. Her passion for representing clients in heated divorce and custody cases caused her to want to become a licensed attorney so she could continue to grow in this field.

Kelsey has handled every aspect of a case and brings a rare, full-spectrum understanding of family law to her practice at OConnor Family Law. Her life experience gives her the empathy that is crucial when guiding someone out of a traumatic relationship, but it also gives her an unshakable commitment to making her clients’ futures more secure. As she puts it: “By the time your case gets to court, you’ve likely been fighting for years. It’s exhausting, and I know how much you need someone you can trust in your corner. I want to lift that burden for you, and I won’t stop until it’s done.”

Kelsey earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Anselm College, where she was awarded the Melucci Scholarship, which is a full-tuition scholarship based on academic achievement, personal growth, spirituality, and community service. She earned her law degree from Massachusetts School of Law, attending the full-time evening program while working full-time during the day and part-time on weekends. During law school, she received awards recognizing her strength in legal writing and advocacy.

Kelsey is a founding member of Manchester Professional Women for Good, a charitable organization supporting local causes. She’s a trivia enthusiast (and former Granite State Challenge contestant), an unapologetic fan of Swedish metal, and an adventurer at heart. She shares her life with her long-time partner, and Jack, her 9-pound terrier mix and self-proclaimed “best dog in the world.”

When you're facing one of the most difficult moments of your life, you want more than just legal advice. You want someone who understands, cares, and fights with a plan and a purpose. Kelsey is that advocate. She doesn't just know the law; she knows what it means to live through the pain, confusion, and fear that often come with family law cases. Her clients benefit from her sharp legal skills, her unwavering commitment, and her unmatched ability to see the human side of every case. With Kelsey on your side, you’ll have more than just legal guidance; you’ll have someone who won’t back down until it’s right for you, who will carry your fight when you can’t, and who is fully invested in protecting your future.
